Welcome to Lancing sailing club
A friendly, family-oriented sailing club located on Lancing beach nestled between Worthing and Brighton.
Our location, facilities and events are perfect for families to enjoy the beach experience together on and off the water. Our modern clubhouse retains a beach hut vibe opening directly out on the beach, with sea views overlooking the sailing area. The club has two large dinghy parks, sited either side of the clubhouse providing direct access to arguably the best sailing waters on the South Coast, a water sports playground our loyal club members have enjoyed for over 50 years.
Lancing SC provides exciting and challenging racing for everyone and welcomes sailors of all abilities, whether budding National Champion or novice. If you are looking to become a sailor or enjoy getting out on the water, our club has an active training program and paddleboarding, windsurfing, and wild swimming membership groups.

About LSC
We race every Sunday from April through to November and on Wednesday evenings during the Summer. Our trained volunteer members also run training every Saturday, from May to September. Our training programme caters for all ages six and above and aims to bring beginners into sailing and introduce you to the beautiful sport of dinghy racing. We have several club boats that can be used, free of charge during training, and hired out for racing or free sailing for a small fee until you inevitably buy your own. This helps you to learn the basics and know what class of dinghy will suit you and is a great way to get into the wonderful world of sailing.
