On Saturday *17 July 2021, we will be holding the RYA ReDiscover Sailing Day followed later in the afternoon by our first Pursuit Race of the year, entre for the race on the day in the clubhouse.
This RYA initiative, ReDiscover Sailing aims to encourage the return of those who took to the water in 2020.
Michelle Gent, RYA Programmes Manager, said: “We’ve been looking ahead towards the warm winds of Spring and Summer and how best we can support our affiliated organisations bounce back after these truly challenging times, and hope our ReDiscover Sailing and Discover Sailing campaigns will enable everyone to make the most of 2021 once we are finally able to get afloat again.”
RYA ReDiscover Sailing Schedule:
On the morning of *17 July 2021 from 10.00 to 15:00 Hrs, LSC will be offering refresher sailing trips out into the bay, aboard clubs boats, each skippered by our experienced members, our team of shore members will be on hand to advise newcomers about becoming a member and how to join in on Sunday racing.
Due to high demand we have now have a waiting for our Saturday training sessions and can only accept new members who are experienced and are looking to be able to sail independently, if you meet this criteria please add the numbers in your party and then register here:
