Lancing Sailing Club Sports Day & BBQ

Join us for a fun-filled Sports Day and BBQ at Lancing Sailing Club!

Following training, we’ll be keeping the rescue boat on the water and giving members the opportunity to try some of the fantastic activities available at the club. Think of it as an Open Day, but exclusively for our members.

Have you ever wanted to:

• Try a SUP or kayak?
• Go for a sail in an RS400 or Laser?
• Challenge a swimmer to a race?

This is your chance!

To make the day a success, we’re looking for members willing to share their activity with others and help fellow members experience something new.

Volunteers Needed (you can still join in with the other events)

We’re looking for leaders and helpers for the following:

• Event Coordinator (Schedule all the times)
• Safety Boat Helm and Crew
• SUP/Kayak Lead
• Swim Lead
• Sailing Lead
  • Encourage sailors to take members out in their boats
  • Organise participants and activity sessions
• BBQ Chef

After the activities, we’ll finish the day with a club BBQ and social, giving everyone a chance to relax, chat, and enjoy the evening together.

And if you’ve got a new toy, gadget, board, boat, or bit of kit you’ve been wanting to try out on the beach, this is the perfect day to bring it along!
