Have a go at Sailing 22nd July, Postponed from the 1st of July

Sailing  have a On 22nd July the sailing will happen due to weather conditions on 1st.

Ever fancied a go at Sailing or other Watersports? Do you walk past thinking one day you should have a try? Well here’s the opportunity! At Lancing Sailing Club we offer a wide range of Watersports activities from sailing to swimming and standup paddle boarding. On the 22nd July we are holding our have a go at Sailing Day where you can come and have a go at sailing, swimming and much more for free!

The Club has a strong social scene with a bar and canteen.

Lancing Sailing Club is situated with direct beach access to some of the best sailing and watersports venues in the UK; a place perfect to get wet, relax on the beach and enjoy the Club House to socialise in after, with warm showers, changing rooms and facilities for storing watersports kit (kayaks, SUPs, windsurfing kit and more).

Within the club we have the following going on:

• Dinghy sailing, with an active racing fleet sailing April through to December. Regular Wednesday evening and Sunday racing.
• Open Water Sea Swimming
• New to 2023 we have invested in a new storage for boards and are forming a new SUP division. The Club has a pump and all the things you could need after a day out on the water!

We hold regular social events making best use of our onsite members bar and canteen. We hope you can join us to meet our members and have a go on the 22nd of July and see what the club is all about!

Please RSVP below, to give you the best experience, the number of tickets on the website will be limited. Though if you don’t want to commit do come along on the day and we will do our best to get you out on the water. In an hour slot we will get you out on the water, please turn up 30 mins before your slot to get ready. For the 1st slot please arrive from 10:00. 2nd slot from 1100.

Event is subject to weather conditions, by registering up front we will aim to contact you to inform of likely cancellation postponement, plus ensure we have enough support from our Lovely Members.

If you intend to come along we have a small selection of wetsuits and you will be kitted out with a buoyancy aid. Though if you have your own wetsuit/kit feel free to bring it along. Sunscreen, Towel and swimming suit recommended.
