The following is being circulated to membership groups to consider if you know suitable candidates that may be interested to help with the role of Canteen Manager at the Club.
The Club is situated at Shopsdam Road in Lancing which is on the beach east of Lancing Beach Green.
Whilst we are traditionally a sailing club we also have a sea swimming pod and a newly formed group of paddle boarders which brings a vibrant atmosphere to the Club.We are looking for someone to run the canteen during the summer months on Sunday mornings and lunchtime to feed the hungry sailors, swimmers and paddle boarders and family members. The food choice and preparation will need to be done before. The Club is able to offer £12 per hour and would usually ask for the canteen to open at 9:30 am. The length of the day is weather dependent but would pay a minimum of 2 hours to 11:30 should the weather stop water activities going ahead. However if the day is sunny and good for water activities the day could be as long as 6 hours.
