DESCRIPTION:Ever fancied a go at Sailing or other Watersports? Do you walk past thinking one day you should have a try? Well here’s the opportunity! At Lancing Sailing Club we offer a wide range of Watersports activities from sailing to swimming and standup paddle boarding. On the 1st June we are holding our have a go at Watersport Day where you can come and have a go at sailing\, swimming and much more for free! \nThe Club has a strong social scene with a bar and canteen. \nLancing Sailing Club is situated with direct beach access to some of the best sailing and watersports venues in the UK; a place perfect to get wet\, relax on the beach and enjoy the Club House to socialise in after\, with warm showers\, changing rooms and facilities for storing watersports kit (Sailing Dinghies\,kayaks\, SUPs\, windsurfing kit and more). \nWithin the club we have the following going on: \n\nDinghy sailing\, with an active racing fleet sailing April through to December. Regular Wednesday evening and Sunday racing.\nOpen Water Sea Swimming\nSUP/Kayak division. The Club has a pump and all the things you could need after a day out on the water!\n\nWe hold regular social events making best use of our onsite members bar and canteen. We hope you can join us to meet our members and have a go on the 1st of June and see what the club is all about. \nPlease RSVP below selecting the activity you wish to partake in\, to give you the best experience\, the number of tickets on the website will be limited. Though if you don’t want to commit do come along on the day and we will do our best to get you out on the water. In an hour slot we will get you out on the water. For the 1st slot please arrive from 14:00. \nOn the day we will also have Hot Dogs (Veggi and meat) Plus drinks available\, \nEvent is subject to weather conditions\, by registering up front we will aim to contact you to inform of likely cancellation postponement\, plus ensure we have enough support from our Lovely Members. \nIf you intend to come along we have a small selection of wetsuits and you will be kitted out with a buoyancy aid. Though if you have your own wetsuit/kit feel free to bring it along. Sunscreen\, Towel and swimming suit recommended. \nFor Children we recommend a minimum age of 7 for participation and that parents should be able to out on the water with Child. For 13-18 Parental consent required. \nCan’t make the 1st June? Do get in contact and we will be delighted to show you around another day!

Do you walk past thinking one day you should have a try? Well here’s the opportunity! At Lancing Sailing Club we offer a wide range of Watersports activities from sailing to swimming and standup paddle boarding. On the 1st July we are holding our Open Day where you can come and have a go at sailing\, swimming and much more for free! \nThe Club has a strong social scene with a bar and canteen. There will be a BBQ in the afternoon with food and drink available to buy. \nLancing Sailing Club is situated with direct beach access to some of the best sailing and watersports venues in the UK; a place perfect to get wet\, relax on the beach and enjoy the Club House to socialise in after\, with warm showers\, changing rooms and facilities for storing watersports kit (kayaks\, SUPs\, windsurfing kit and more). \nWithin the club we have the following going on: \n\nDinghy sailing\, with an active racing fleet sailing April through to December. Regular Wednesday evening and Sunday racing.\nOpen Water Sea Swimming @ 2 pm with our swimmers Liz and Helen /  Stand Up Paddle Board\,\nNew to 2023 we have invested in a new storage for boards and are forming a new SUP division. The Club has a pump and all the things you could need after a day out on the water!\n\nWe hold regular social events making best use of our onsite members bar and canteen. We hope you can join us to meet our members and have a go on the 1st of July and see what the club is all about! \nPlease RSVP below\, to give you the best experience\, the number of tickets on the website will be limited. Though if you don’t want to commit do come along on the day and we will do our best to get you out on the water. In an hour slot we will get you out on the water\, please turn up 30 mins before your slot to get ready. DESCRIPTION:Coronation Street Theme Buffet Lunch from 1 PM –  Sunday 7th May \nLSC are celebrating the King’s Coronation by holding a street theme buffet lunch at 1 PM after the Spring Challenge Cup at 11.00 hrs.  For any non-members there will be a charge of £3.00 \nPlease come along and bring a dish (if possible let us know what you are bringing) and enjoy good food\, open bar\, music and a relaxed social lunch. \nWe are looking for more volunteers to help with this event and others\, can you help? \n
