DESCRIPTION:SAILING POSTPONED TO THE 22ND JULY DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS\, BBQ and Swim at 14:00 still occurring. \nEver fancied a go at Sailing or other Watersports? Do you walk past thinking one day you should have a try? Well here’s the opportunity! At Lancing Sailing Club we offer a wide range of Watersports activities from sailing to swimming and standup paddle boarding. On the 1st July we are holding our Open Day where you can come and have a go at sailing\, swimming and much more for free! \nThe Club has a strong social scene with a bar and canteen. There will be a BBQ in the afternoon with food and drink available to buy. \nLancing Sailing Club is situated with direct beach access to some of the best sailing and watersports venues in the UK; a place perfect to get wet\, relax on the beach and enjoy the Club House to socialise in after\, with warm showers\, changing rooms and facilities for storing watersports kit (kayaks\, SUPs\, windsurfing kit and more). \nWithin the club we have the following going on: \n\nDinghy sailing\, with an active racing fleet sailing April through to December. Regular Wednesday evening and Sunday racing.\nOpen Water Sea Swimming @ 2 pm with our swimmers Liz and Helen /  Stand Up Paddle Board\,\nNew to 2023 we have invested in a new storage for boards and are forming a new SUP division. The Club has a pump and all the things you could need after a day out on the water!\n\nWe hold regular social events making best use of our onsite members bar and canteen. We hope you can join us to meet our members and have a go on the 1st of July and see what the club is all about! \nPlease RSVP below\, to give you the best experience\, the number of tickets on the website will be limited. Though if you don’t want to commit do come along on the day and we will do our best to get you out on the water. In an hour slot we will get you out on the water\, please turn up 30 mins before your slot to get ready. For the 1st slot please arrive from 13:30. 2nd slot from 14:30. \nEvent is subject to weather conditions\, by registering up front we will aim to contact you to inform of likely cancellation postponement\, plus ensure we have enough support from our Lovely Members. \nIf you intend to come along we have a small selection of wetsuits and you will be kitted out with a buoyancy aid. Though if you have your own wetsuit/kit feel free to bring it along. Sunscreen\, Towel and swimming suit recommended. \nCan’t make the 1st of July?
