SUMMARY:Paris Olympics Watersports Celebration - Sat 3rd August 1 PM - RNLI Charity Event
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate the PARIS OLYMPICS Lancing Sailing Club will be holding an RNLI Charity Event for members\, their family and friends\nOur own Olympic challenges will feature SUP\, kayak and swimming water sports events\, and beach volley ball and rounders for all the family plus we will have some onshore games for the little ones!  There will be a raffle with many prizes including some from our benefactors at Shoreham RNLI – who might even be making a drive by!! \n\n1pm arrival for 1.30pm start of the events.\nShowing live swimming and sailing events\, and the women’s football 1/4 finals live from the actual Games in Paris \nBar open all day\nFood served at 5.00pm \nMedal ceremony at 7.00pm\n\nWe are asking for everyone to bring a dish for the Olympic tea – please click here for the food listing and confirm your food offer via socialsec.lsc@gmail.com.  Ice creams available for all! \nThere will be no charge for this event\, but please make donations and all bar proceeds will go to the RNLI\nPlease also bring along donations of prizes for the raffle to add to those kindly donated by Shoreham RNLI\nSo please register for tickets below by 1700\, Friday 2nd August so we can judge numbers\, and make your donation via our Just Giving link.\nOur fundraising target is £500 – good value for all our hours of safety at sea!\nRemember – open to members and your friends and family – the more the merrier!! \nBAD WEATHER – PLAN ‘B” – we will revert to games on the patio/indoors with a LATER START of 3pm .   We will contact all those pre-registered via email\, and please check back here on the event page the night before from 6pm.
